Amazing Machines make a rumbling return

The hugely successful Amazing Machines weekend returns to LEGOLAND® Windsor this September to wow guests with an array of action-packed activities, from thundering monster trucks to inline skaters.

Team Extreme®, the UK’s only professional extreme sports display team, will make their debut at Amazing Machines with two spectacular shows performed on an 11 foot high half pipe. You can experience the power and skills of skateboarding, controlled flips of inline skating and BMXers catching an incredible 12 foot of air above the ramp!  Learn the skills and techniques from the shows by attending the special coaching sessions, teaching young people how to ride and skate safely. 

Making a return will be Europe’s premier Monster Truck display team ‘Big Pete’ who’ll be battling it out in the special events area.  This incredibly popular show features amazing spectacles including authentic American monster trucks jumping over cars and performing wheelies!

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) will be bringing along their friendly mascot Stormy Stan for some fun and games.  You’ll also be able to find out how the RNLI use their lifeboats and rescue equipment to save lives at sea.

Sky Day at Chessington

Sky have teamed up with Chessington this Summer to bring you Sky Day, where you can meet all of your favourite characters from top Sky Channels!

Come pirouette with everyone’s favourite tutu-wearing mouse, Angelina Ballerina for meet-and-greets at Hocus Pocus Hall. Or visit Dora the Explorer who will make sure everyone’s having lots of fun down by the Monkey & Bird Garden!

Are you rrr-ready?! Come and strike your best pose with Sky One’s brand new Gladiators: Atlas, Spartan, Battleaxe and Panther. Or for young action heroes, a dream meeting awaits them as the Dino Thunder Power Rangers stand guard in Mexicana!

Please note that your Merlin Annual Pass does not guarantee entry to this event. Make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Summer Action at THORPE PARK

News Just In - Merlin Annual Pass Now includes the London Aquarium!

Wild Factor 2 at Chessington

All aboard for this year’s Wild Factor - Chessington's amazing animal show!

The crew are lost at sea and need a little help from their shipmates to find the compass of conservation and set sail for their next destination. Entertaining, educational and a lot of fun; animals are on deck daily from 19th July to 1st September at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.

The Wild Factor 2 supports the 2008 Amphibian Ark Campaign.  Almost half of the world's Amphibians are threatened with extinction. Addressing this crisis represents the greatest species conservation challenge in the history of humanity.

A response to this is the Amphibian Ark, in which select species that would otherwise go extinct, will be maintained in captivity until they can be secured in the wild. Without this immediate captive management as a stopgap, hundreds of species could become extinct.

Don’t miss this summer’s top children's music festival at LEGOLAND® Windsor on 19 July, featuring Bob the Builder™, Fifi and the Flowertots™, Angelina Ballerina™, Fireman Sam™ and the Power Rangers.
 
Making it a real family affair will be brother and sister duo and 2007 X Factor runners-up ‘Same Difference’ who’ll be performing at this all-singing, all-dancing event which is perfect for first time festival goers! 
Headlining the festival will be Bob the Builder who is set to lasso up some fun as he embarks on his latest Wild West adventure, ‘Bob’s Cowboy Holiday’.

Fireman Sam is the show’s guest compere and along with Bob the Builder families can also catch Angelina Ballerina practicing her pirouettes, see Fifi and Bumble rocking with the tots and enjoy a special appearance by the high kicking Power Rangers.

Viking Midsummer Fest

LEGOLAND® Windsor will be hosting a Scandinavian-style celebration to commemorate the arrival of the park’s latest area, The Land of the Vikings! There will be a host of special entertainment and lots of exciting activities taking place across the park.

On Saturday 21st June only, the park will remain open until 9pm for guests to enjoy the rides for longer and witness the lighting of a special Danish midsummer bonfire at 7pm on the Adventure Land lake.

Activities over the weekend include:
